Keri Baker, MSW, LCSW, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor (She/Her)
Why I choose to partner with The FitzLane Project:
I was so excited to see the work that The FitzLane Project is doing to serve the LGBTQIA+ community, and want to make myself available to help young members of this community who might need additional support. Everyone is deserving of mental health care and being a safe person that members of this community can rely on is super important to me.

Lou Bardach, Student Intern (He/They)
Why I choose to partner with The FitzLane Project:
I have worked specifically with LGBTQIA+ people in support capacities at various times throughout my life. My professional focus is on healing the effects of childhood trauma, but I see homophobia/transphobia and other forms of social oppression as compounding trauma presenting unique considerations for LGBTQIA+ folx who grew up in dysfunctional families. I’m passionate about this in particular because it reflects my own experience.

Hall Birdsong, M.Ed., Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (He/Him/His)
Why I choose to partner with The FitzLane Project:
I chose to partner with The FitzLane Project because I want to support my community. I want trans and nonbinary youth to know that there is hope. There are places and people who can provide you a safe, compassionate space you need to explore your thoughts and feelings, feel empowered to embrace your strengths and step into your truth, and ultimately thrive in your identity.

Tristan Byrnes, LMHC (he/him/his)
Why I choose to partner with The FitzLane Project:
There is still a lot needed to advocate for the transgender community, especially Trans Youth as the community is often used as political pawns and the youngest often get hurt the most by legislation, policies and society.

Kim Carew, Student Intern (She/Her/Hers)
Why I choose to partner with The FitzLane Project:
To help provide more counseling options.

Aron Cyrrian, LMHC, MA, CCHt (He/Him/His)
Why I choose to partner with The FitzLane Project:
Access to mental health care services is unfortunately pretty inaccessible in this day and age. One of my goals as a professional and a member of the LGBTQ+ community was to make sure that I could provide affordable services to my clients, especially for trans and non-binary youth who often have the most difficulty with finding and affording a counselor, and who are often the ones who need mental health care the most. The FitzLane Project makes these services a lot more accessible.

Michael Davidson, MEd, RMHCI (He/Him/His)
Why I choose to partner with The FitzLane Project:
The FitzLane Project assists transgender youth in accessing life changing therapy. I want to be a part of this great project to help more people get services.

Katy Dumont, LCSW (She/Her)
Why I choose to partner with The FitzLane Project:
Atala's vision is to dismantle barriers preventing access to therapy, and Fitzlane Project's mission fits that vision.

Cynthia Fisher, LCSW (She/Her)
Why I choose to partner with The FitzLane Project:
My practice caters almost exclusively to trans and nonbinary clients and their loved ones. Many struggle to afford therapy, even with discounted rates. It is critical that they have access to the care they need.

Charity Garcia, Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern (She/Her)

Araceli Gauna-Scattolini, LMHC (She/They)
Why I choose to partner with The FitzLane Project:
I heard about Fitzlane Project through a colleague and had the pleasure of meeting with Alivia to learn more about the mission behind the name. I experienced an overabundance of joy hearing about how many lives have already been touched thanks to Alivia and her family. I wanted to be a part of that growing vision.

Abby Maher, NCC
Abby Maher, M.A., NCC (she/her/hers)
Why I choose to partner with The FitzLane Project:
I chose to partner with The FitzLane Project because I recognize the need that the project is working hard to fill. For various reasons LGBTQIA+ people and other marginalized groups are often restricted from accessing quality, affirming mental health care. As a counselor, I believe that part of my role is to advocate for the communities I work with and join advocacy efforts that are already established and working hard to benefit the people in those communities. Part of my advocacy is decreasing the barriers to accessing affirming mental health care for LGBTQIA+ individuals.

Michael Mazucci-Mambala, LCSW, MCAP, CCTP, ART-trained (He/Him/His)

Sara Mercier-Kennedy, RMHC-1, LPCC, NCC (she/her/hers)
Why I choose to partner with The FitzLane Project:
Having access to knowledgeable and LGBTQIA+ MHCs especially MHCs who specialize in Transgender services is a must. All too often the biggest hurdle for transgender youth, and even adults is a lack of knowledgeable medical and mental health professionals.

Dr. Stefanie Meyer-Goodwin, LMHC, LMFT, CST, ACS (She/They)
Why I choose to partner with The FitzLane Project:
Being parent to an amazing daughter (who happens to also be transgender) has been immensely fulfilling and enriching. And it has allowed me to see first hand some of the challenges faced by trans youth and young adults in our current sociopolitical climate. While I can't control politics or the practices of other professionals, I can do my part to provide the best possible care to my clients and support them in their journey.

James Miller, LMHC (he/him)
Why I choose to partner with The FitzLane Project:
Because of their dedication to the LGBTQ+ population. I was told by my colleague, Araceli Gauna-Scattolini, about the organization and we decided it was a good opportunity to be more involved.

Liv Wolfenden, M.Ed. (She/Her)
Why I choose to partner with The FitzLane Project:
The within-community focus and efforts of The FitzLane Project toward finding the care and support that folx need is crucial. This organization helps us therapists oriented toward social justice and trauma-informed care work with clients through this needed lens. The voices, experiences, and lives of transgender and gender expansive youth and young adults are valued, heard, uplifted, and wanted. TGNC clients deserve a therapist that they can trust and connect with, and I hope to be that provider.
